We’re currently looking for a full-time Account Manager to join our growing team. This role will be based in Calgary, Alberta. Working primarily from a home office, the Account Manager is responsible for prospecting, generating, and securing sales of OneTEAM Sports Group products focused on elementary and high schools. They are responsible for the development and growth of accounts within their assigned territory. The sales territory for this role is the City of Calgary and some of the surrounding regional municipalities where we have existing preferred contractual relationships.


Responsibilities:

  • Securing sales of OneTEAM products to clients throughout your respective territory
  • Cold calling schools as a preferred vendor to foster relationships
  • Increase OneTEAM’s customer base and revenue by targeting, acquiring, and retaining clients
  • Maintain existing customer revenue contribution to territory
  • Managing the complete business development lifecycle from lead generation through to opportunity qualification, presentation, price negotiation and close
  • Build a sales pipeline to ensure sales targets are achieved and where possible, exceeded
  • Develop and deliver sales presentations to potential clients
  • Adhere to sales process and provide accurate reporting to management using NetSuite.
  • Participate in Regional and National Sales meetings
  • Manage day to day sales and order activity
  • Provide outstanding customer service to all accounts
  • Research competitors' products/services
  • Detailed knowledge of the product and competitive environment
  • Knowledge of all OneTEAM programs and products
  • Identifying and reporting on marketing opportunities
  • Report Sales forecast annually
  • Reporting of Sales figures monthly
  • Provide monthly territory updates including forecasting to Sales Manager


Qualifications:

  • Successful sales experience
  • Experience working with schools in the Calgary area is an asset
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Experience working in a target led environment
  • Able to manage own schedule and workload, maximizing opportunities to be with schools, teams, clubs; engaging with potential clients
  • Exceptional verbal, written and presenting skills
  • Strong focus on business development through effective prospecting
  • Proficiency in the MS Office suite of applications. Strength in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Innovative and creative solution thinking in meeting customer requirements
  • Enthusiastic with highly positive attitude and a commitment to long term success both personally and for OneTEAM
  • Understanding of market trends and competitors within assigned territory
  • Valid driver’s license and own a vehicle
  • Represent OneTEAM Sports Group with integrity and professionalism
